Our Story
November 2011, Madawaska River - Palmer Rapids to be precise; founders Neil and Sarah decided to escape the daily grind, enter the world of entrepreneurial endeavours and the Madawaska Coffee Co. concept was born. Conceived from their love of a quality cup of coffee and their passion for all things great the once hobby-roaster has grown into Madawaska Valley's #1 provider of fresh-roasted quality coffees.

His ambition to find the perfect roasts is driven by the desire to share the enjoyment of great coffee with others.
From bean to brand, his creativity, eye for design and ability to see the big picture, has been essential in the growth of Madawaska Coffee Co.
Finding inspiration in all sorts of outdoor pursuits; Neil can often be found sailing, dirt biking, climbing and of course paddling the whitewaters of the Madawaska River. |

From tasting her first cup of fresh roasted coffee, Sarah knew she wanted to be a part of a company that would enrich the mornings of others through great food and beverages.
Keenness for quality and attention to detail, alongside Sarah’s desire for community collaboration, has contributed to the growth and continued success of Madawaska Coffee Co.
For Sarah, community connections don’t end at work. She enjoys golfing at our local greens, skiing the surrounding hills and sharing her love of music with others. |

All of our beans are hand-selected and small-batch roasted giving us the utmost control of the end product. Once the beans have been roasted they are packaged and shipped direct to our retail and restaurant partners within 48 hours. Quality and freshness is always our focus.
Currently we offer 11 different roasts. Light, Medium, Dark, Bold, Espresso, Decaf, Decaf Maple, Maple, Dark Maple and Hazelnut
All of our roasts are single-origin with the exception of our Espresso Roast, which has been blended to create a uniquely smooth, crema-filled cup.
We are also proud to be able to offer only the best quality Swiss Water Process decaffeinated coffee.
